The faces behind Covey👨‍👩‍👦

We're a husband and wife duo with interests and skills that run perpendicular to each other.

Michael Mosler is an NCARB certified and Illinois licensed architect with added interests in art and 3D Printing and Design.

Amanda Mosler has been a graphic designer in the marketing, design,and digital media world for nearly 15 years.

We've been working together for almost 20 years, and decided to add a business to the "tag team" approach to our personal life. We take our individual skills and interests and put them together to create one unique final result.

Originally from Mt. Vernon, Illinois, we've lived in the Marion, Illinois area for the past 11 years. Our son, Morgan, is a student in the Marion Unit 2 District.

  • Michael is a licensed architect, but he got his start in construction. He attended Rend Lake College and SIU Carbondale for Associate's, Bachelor's, and Master's degrees in Architecture. While in college, he worked as a project manager for a construction company.

    After graduation, he set out to complete his apprenticeship hours and licensing tests, finishing in 2017. During that time, he worked in SIU Carbondale's Plant Engineering office as a draftsman, under the mentorship of architects and engineers.

    For the past 6+ years, he has been a registered architect in the state of Illinois, with NCARB certification.

    In addition to architecture, he enjoys creating art in all forms, including 3D printing, felting, sewing, woodworking, etc. If you can think of it, he can probably make it happen!

  • Amanda is Michael's wife, a graphic designer and a mom. She wears a lot of hats in a day, but multi-tasking is in her genetics. If you need graphics or marketing, she's your gal! In addition to graphics and marketing, Amanda is also in charge of keeping the wheels greased at Covey. You’ll find her in your inbox communicating updates, sending invoices and helping Michael stay on top of things.

Morgan

Morgan is the resident 7-year-old who has a lot of wit and opinions to share. In fact, he has earned himself the nickname "The Mayor" because of that quality. We don't employ child labor, so unfortunately, you will not work with Morgan on your Covey projects. He’s too busy playing his guitar or building in Minecraft, anyway. He is here for moral support and the occasional wisecrack, and would not stand for being discluded from his dad's website.
